I'm going to step outside my ordinary and tell anyone and everyone who comes across my blog to check out a following link. First, I'm going to tell you-- I honestly believe this is a step towards going green. I also think this is a great thing for women's health. And, I think this creative person deserves some recognition.

In a world where were are striving to be more self sufficient I see these as a necessity. Don't you?

Have you ever heard of the Keeper? http://www.keeper.com/ If I'm going to go green, this is much more realistic for me. I like just dumping out instead of washing. ICK.
But really, either what you've linked to or what I linked to is much better economically and space-wise (like for your year storage)...in addition to also being green. The keeper also has the advantage of using less water (like in case you were ever in a state of emergency where water was scarce).
It's like cloth diapers... Ack! I feel so much responsibility, yet so much disgust! What do I do????
Is it weird that the Keeper totally grosses me out? I can't even do the tampon thing for the same reason-- I'm a pad girl, so maybe why these were interesting to me.
I go through about two packs of pads (about $10) every three weeks. (24 days from start to start) Economically these might be a good choice for me.
Thank you so much for featuring me!!!! It was a wonderful thing to wake up too :):):):)
As far as economics go, it's a little pricey at first, but some women use the same pads for years before buying new ones, so maybe you spend $30 all at once, but that's not spending $10+ once a month for pads/tampons :)
And...I have to admit, I'm easily squicked out by gross things and cloth pads aren't pad at all. They are extremely easy to take care of and if you aren't worried about stains, you can treat them the same way you would regular clothes, just toss them in the washing machine :):):)
Again, thank you so much :)
